Who we are
This website is operated by UNITRADE SOLUTIONS LIMITED (“Unitrade”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Company No. 3138114). Unitrade is the data user responsible for the personal data described in this notice. Our registered office is Unit 1603, 16th Floor, The L. Plaza, 367–375 Queen’s Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (the “Ordinance”).
What this website collects
This website gives general information about Unitrade. It has no contact forms, user accounts, analytics or advertising. It sets no cookies and uses no tracking technologies.
The website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver and secure the website, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and request logs, under its own privacy policy.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your name, email address and the contents of your message only to reply to you and to manage any business relationship that follows. Our email service is provided by Zoho.
Business contacts
In the course of our work we hold business contact details (name, company, role and email address) of people at client and partner companies. We use them only to arrange and follow up introductions that the parties have agreed to, and we share them only with the parties to that introduction.
We keep these details for as long as the introduction and any engagement connected with it are active, and afterwards only for as long as we need to keep business records or the law requires. We then delete them.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data or use it for marketing. We disclose personal data only to the service providers we need to run our business (our email and website hosting providers), to the parties to an introduction as described above, or where the law requires us to do so.
Where data is processed
Our email and website hosting providers, Zoho and Cloudflare, may store or process personal data on servers outside Hong Kong. We use these providers only to run our email and website.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorised or accidental access, processing, loss or misuse.
Your rights
Under the Ordinance, you may ask whether we hold personal data about you, request a copy of it, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
We will respond to a data access request within 40 days, as the Ordinance requires. We may charge a fee for providing a copy of the data; any fee will not be excessive.
